Trustbank Amanah donates digital clock to Nickerie
Our branch in the district Nickerie commemorated its 5th anniversary this year in March. Related with this occasion, Trustbank Amanah donates a digital clock to the community of Nickerie.
CEO Maureen Badjoeri announced the donation during the 1st anniversary celebration on March 7th. The digital clock shows both time and temperature. Both functionalities can play an important role for the economic activities in the district as well as for each individual. The donation was made possible in cooperation SIB Signs & Designs.
“With the digital clock, right in the center of Nieuw-Nickerie where there is a large daily flow of people who sell at and visit the market, employees of surrounding companies, sportsmen, tourists from other districts and from abroad, we offer the convenience of the time and temperature that can be used for various purposes. We also try to contribute to a piece of urban embellishment, "said Trustbank Amanah Chief Commercial Officer Rick Soedamah.
The digital clock was revealed on Saturday 29 June 2019 by District Commissioner of Nickerie mrs Nisha Kurban- Baboe together with Trustbank Amanah Chief Financial Officer Eduard Kidjo, Chief Commercial Officer Rick Soedamah, branch manager Rachel Tjon Tjauw Liem and representative of SIB Signs & Designs Donavon Soerohardjo. Both Trustbank Amanah and SIB Signs & Designs are of the opinion that this gift demonstrates the social responsibility.
