TRUSTBANK AMANAH OFFERS EASE AND EFFICIENT BANKING BY MAKING ELECTRONIC PAYMENT POSSIBLE

From June 20, 2019, Trustbank Amanah is connected to the Suriname National Electronic Payment System (SNEPS) platform. This allows its customers to make and receive electronic payments in SRDs through cheques and transfers.

After thorough preparations, including testing with other local banks, Trustbank Amanah is now connected to the SNEPS platform and is one of the few banks that offers this system via Straight Through Processing (STP), which means that the processing time for transferring and receiving can be completed within 1 day. SNEPS was introduced in 2015 by the Central Bank of Suriname (CBvS).

In 2018, Trustbank Amanah launched the curren account and debit card, whereby its customers can pay at any ATM and make payments at any POS device. By connecting to the SNEPS platform, our services linked to the current account have been expanded.

To optimize the digital customer experience, Trustbank Amanah, the first primary Islamic Bank in Suriname, offers the complete package of primary banking products and services and will soon launch internet and mobile banking.
