CELEBRATING 30 YEARS BANKING EXPERIENCE

Trustbank Amanah, the first primary Islamic Bank in Suriname, launches its digital banking service, internet and mobile banking. With this milestone, the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Trustbank Amanah, on 31 October 2019, has started.

Both private and business clients of Trustbank Amanah now have access to all their accounts and financing from their personal computer, laptop, tablet and smartphone, at any time and any location. This service is very user-friendly, safe and fast. Transfers, via the internet and mobile banking, are real time through Straight Through Processing (STP)

“With the introduction of digital banking we are taking a step towards Global Financial Services. We are focusing our attention on Fintech and, after intensive preparation, we have been able to ensure that our customers can arrange their banking affairs anywhere and anytime efficiently and securely with Trustbank Amanah’s digital banking, ”said Trustbank Amanah CEO Maureen Badjoeri.

Last year Trustbank Amanah launched the current account where the customer does not have to pay monthly fees and the debit card that can be used at any ATM and POS devices. In addition, in connection with its 30th anniversary, special products are offered including financing and for the youth the Gen Z account, where they can open a current account with their own debit card. Trustbank Amanah also introduces the Loyalty program, whereby its current account customers receive extra benefits when using the debit card.

Trustbank Amanah continues to work on innovation in order to give its customers the ultimate banking experience according to Islamic banking principles. It is expected that with the new service, digital banking, its services will be improved and its customer base will grow steadily.
