VES thesis prize winner awarded by Trustbank Amanah

The annual new year reception of the Vereniging van Economisten in Suriname was held on Wednesday 24 January 2018. Part of this activity  is awarding a prize to the author of the best thesis produced at master level. This gives substance to the goal of the organisation to study the Surinamese economy.

This year Trustbank Amanah has provided the prize for the best thesis. With this, the bank recognizes and supports the importance of education , with a contribution to personal and social development. Trustbank Amanah has offered this gesture with great pleasure. CEO Maureen Badjoeri presented the symbolic cheque worth USD1000,- to the winner Nisha Soekha. The title of the thesis is: The Empirical link between perceived customer value and customer retention within the fast-food industry.

With this award, the VES wants to highlight good-quality "economics" theses. Every year, two best 'economic' theses from the FHR Institute for Social Studies and the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research (IGSR) compete for the VES Thesis prize.
